Green List clarity

Hello, I would like to seek some advice from this group and would like to have the correct understanding of what the Green List Visa can do for me. I'm currently NOT residing in NZ and my background is that I previously had working experience as listed in the Tier 1 category, and my current role is aligned with my previous role. My question: Is it possible for me to apply for this visa? My worry is about the wording found on the webpage: "have an offer of, or be working in, a Green List Tier 1 in-demand job with an accredited employer." If the Green List Visa is not applicable to my situation, what is the best pathway for me to migrate to NZ? TIA.
